Privacy Policy

How AtlanticCityVibes handles information when you visit atlanticcityvibes.com. Last updated 6 August 2026.

What we collect

This site is built as static pages and has no accounts and no comment system. We do not ask for your name, address or payment details, and there is nowhere on the site to enter them.

  • The email signup on the home page. It is not connected to a mailing service yet. The address you type is checked for an obvious typo and then discarded inside your own browser the moment you press Subscribe. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, it is not written to storage, and no email is sent to it. When that changes, this page changes first.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider may record standard technical data with each request: IP address, user agent, referring page, requested URL and timestamp. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
  • Email you send us. If you write to support@atlanticcityvibes.com we hold that message in order to reply to it.

Cookies

AtlanticCityVibes sets no cookies of its own and uses no storage for tracking, advertising or analytics. Category filtering on the reviews page runs entirely in your browser and is reflected only in the page's own URL fragment.

There are two local-storage entries, and between them they hold two characters.

  • acv_subscribed = 1 — written when you press Subscribe, so that a browser which has already signed up sees the thank-you message instead of being asked again.
  • acv_prompted = 1 — written when the newsletter popup appears, so that it appears once and never again on this browser.

Neither holds an address, an identifier or a timestamp. Neither leaves your device, and clearing your browser’s site data removes both — after which the popup would treat you as a first-time visitor again.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled on atlanticcityvibes.com, they will be limited to aggregate, non-identifying measurement of page views and referrers, and named here before they are switched on. We do not run advertising networks, behavioural profiling or cross-site tracking pixels.

Third parties

One category of third party is involved in using this site, plus a note on where images come from.

  • Images. All images are served from atlanticcityvibes.com itself, so viewing a page makes no request to any third-party image host or CDN.
  • Outbound links. Items link to publishers, casinos and venues. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy practices apply, not ours.

We do not sell, rent or share personal information, because we do not collect any that could be sold.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal data about you, and to object to processing. Since the only personal data we hold is email you have sent us and technical server logs, most requests are straightforward: write to support@atlanticcityvibes.com and we will respond.

Children

This site covers casino gambling and is not directed at children. It is intended for readers aged 18 or over, and gambling in New Jersey is restricted to those aged 21 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Data retention

Server logs are retained for the period set by our hosting provider, typically a short rolling window. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the matter it concerns, and deleted on request.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above changes with it. Material changes — for example introducing analytics — will be described on this page.
